I've been blocked on social media sites by so many people and I've equally blocked more than 100 persons. The block feature helps to keep away unwanted people from interaction with you online. A lot of them can cause someone depression from what they post online.

I hate having to deal with spammers too. They are the worst kind of people to encounter online. They will spam both your DM and wall. It's very annoying.

I had a fallout with my wife once and she blocked me.  Probably other people have blocked me due to politics.  I really don't know; I know people have unfriended me but I was in this phase where I was just saying what I thought about things.

If you're in a relationship, your partner is likely going to block you once in a while but they will always unblock you. There are some people who don't know to respect other people's opinion. It's why when your vocal about yours, they will block you.

I would say of that I know of, at least 4 people who have blocked me in the past but I also blocked them too due to issues that arose.
