Now that cPanel increased their prices again, people started looking for other alternatives to cpanel. I see some of the hosting companies has switched to directadmin. But I personally like Control Web Panel the most because it offers a wide range of functionalities and it's open source.
What are your choices for cpanel alternatives?

I don't really know much about the names of the alternatives. However, I saw nothing particularly special about cPanel that would make me pay more for it. Anyway, my hosting has cPanel and I like it, but unless my hosting increases in price, I'm sure it's making it harder on them.
Note: I have used a lot of control panels outside of cPanel on Hostinger etc..

CentOS Web Panel is a very good alternative to cPanel. It's a web hosting control panel for managing VPS servers. It's very good when it comes to allowing you to set up servers for WordPress.
