What is your preferred methods?  Which methods do you feel are better?  What are some challenges involved in any of your choices?

I think this can be useful. The more data we have about potential customers the better.

It depends on the kind channel which you're interested in using for reaching out to your buyers. If it's through social media sites, it's paramount to build your followers.

I haven't tried to build to build an email list.  However, I have built a large social following with music lessons.  Anyway, tough, I'd like to make another following with another niche such as employment or web development, but no money at the moment.
